ABOUT THE TRIP: Open to ANY 4x4 offroad vehicle that meets minimum requirements. This will be fun filled wheeling and camping on the Rubicon trail. NOTE the M.O.A.B. Event is more challenging than our Annual Trip, make sure you verify your vehicle meets minimum requirements.

The Rubicon Trail will provide you a non-stop offroad adventure of large, free-standing rocks, huge rock gardens, loose rocky hill climbs, immense rock ledges, substantial rock drops, rocks that come out of nowhere, and massive granite rock slabs. Trailsoffroad.com rates this trail a 7 (Severe) to 9 (Extreme) for the following reasons: Rocky or undulated road surface. Rocks and less than 54" tall and/or vertical ledges less than 54" tall and/or near vertical ledges or waterfalls less than 10' foot. In spots, expect rocks up to over 3-feet round. Good tire placement required. Can be steep and off-camber.  

Possible Concerns: Width, Narrow Shelf Road, Moderate to Extreme Off Camber, Pinstriping and potential for Mud, High Water Crossings, and Body Damage.

This trip is to generate funds for our police officers and first responders, that have been tragically injured or fallen in the line of duty. This year the revenue will help build the donation to nonprofits sharing mission of helping first responders and law enforcement, such as MC1 Foundations and Concerns of Police Survivors.  Supporters or Participants can make additional donations through PayPal to EPIC 4x4 Quest trip to contribute to the mission. (Our trips are open to ALL and ALL vehicle makes and models that meet minimum requirements)

• Cost: $495: $275 deposit to be done within 7days of accepting spot offered & the remaining amount ($220) to be paid in full by set date on PayPal invoice, expect no later than 60 days from start of trip. PayPal invoices will go out for the amounts with due dates. Payment via check vs PayPal is possible with coordination with EPIC 4x4 Quest BOD. NO REFUNDS for deposit! Refund for remaining amount based off refund policy. Note, for those that have gone in the past, yes this is higher than prior years price, but is due to having the prenight hotel built into cost.
• Cost covers 1 vehicle and up to 2 people in the vehicle; Note: Additional people riding in same vehicle will be added $150/person
• Trip includes: 

1. Entry into an EPIC and exclusive trip (12 participant vehicles ONLY) where you establish friendships with the EPIC 4x4 Quest Board of Directors, The Edge Automotive 4x4, and other like-minded offroaders.
2. 3 nights Camping with camp site fees when applicable. You will be responsible for bring all your camping gear.
3. Optional pre-start of event night meet-up, Sunday night. Meet up for BYOD (Buy Your Own Dinner), have opportunity to complete registration, obtain goodie bag, and share some time together. Possibility to have pre-night hotel arranged at additional cost; details to be shared with those selected for the event.
4. Dinner on trail Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Close Out Final Dinner and Awards Wednesday night at campsite. 
5. ONE (1) trip specific T-shirt included (additional able to be bought).
6. EPIC 4x4 Quest trip specific sticker.
7. Guides and Spotters for the offroad portion of the trip. 
8. Goodie Bag that will be given out at the Registration/1st Drivers Meeting which includes but is not limited to the above listed Trip T-shirt and Trip Sticker
9. Giveaway Item from our amazing sponsors with average value of at least $50 for Primary Participant at the Final Close Out Dinner (examples: Gift Cards, Recovery Equipment, or other Offroad related items)
10. Our amazing photographer (Jason T Strother Photography) will be helping capture the trip! All media will be shared through our smugmug which allows for free download as well as to share you content from the trip as well.

Vehicle Requirements for Trip:

• Agree to follow EPIC 4x4 Quest Rules (posted for review on the Event - RULES page)
• Drivers license and minimum of liability insurance coverage
• 4 wheel drive with low range
• Minimum 35" offroad tires
• Rock Sliders 
• Skid Plates
• 2 Working Lockers
• Recovery points - front and rear
• Full Sized Spare Tire Required Encourage Tire Repair Kit as well (If you are in highly modified rig/buggie may have possible variations to spare tire requirement with communication and Board of Director approval)
• Functioning Emergency Brake (Wheel Chock could be acceptable)
• Ability to air down tires and air up tires (Compressor or Tank)
• Cooler for lunches/trail food/drinks/water
• Trash storage method

Additional not required but recommended:

• Fire extinguisher
• First Aid Kit
• Winch (Not Required)
